This is where you will find EVERYTHING you need to know about the site, including the rules, information on the member groups, the history of Stanford, the plot, and all the announcements. The threads in this board are all mandatory for everyone to read, and yes, we WILL know if you've gone through them or not. So please read up, I promise it won't take too long.

This is a monthly thing, just to spice your RP life up. You see, on the first of every month (or as near to said date as possible) I will randomly selected a handful of characters and put them in here. They will either receive a surprise or a disaster, depending on the order of selection. The events will never be life threatening, and there is never anything personal about them. You can opt out of Surprise and Disaster inside this board.

Since your opinion matters so much to me, I made this board for everyone to post in. Here you can tell me about how much you hate or rate this site, or you can offer some constructive critism or a suggestion or two. This board is guest friendly so those who aren't members can also share their views and opinions.

The site canons are here for your disposal. They will be updated every once in a while so that if you really want one there will always be one available for you.

All site claims are kept in here, including the registries to just keep things organised. Please fill out all of these threads, you don't want someone else stealing your PB now do you? Not everything in here is mandatory but it would be nice if you could just take the time to fill it out.

This is where you need to be if you're new to the site. In here is where you post your character application, and where it will be judged and approved or denied. Please read the rules before entering here, and don't forget that once you're accepted you need to post in the claims board and get everything up to date.

This is where we keep all of the accepted applications. Feel free to come and browse through all the pretty people. Get to know everyone. It's a great way to pass the time and get up close and personal with all your fellow patients. Come on - do it.

Yes I know it’s not really a word but I thought it would be cool at the time, okay? Come in here to spice up your characters life. Make friends, make enemies. Go wild. Out with all those colorcoded fancy-shmansy plot pages and in with the newer – more effective mini plot system! Hooray!

Since they let you keep your cell phones, and there is access to the internet, you get to stay in touch with all your friends. Great isn’t it? If you need a shoulder to cry on, and there isn’t anyone in, uh, shoulder reach, then I guess you could just hit them up with a text or a soppy MSN message. Long live technology!

Even the toughest people have emotions and feelings that can be hurt and trampled on and blown into tiny microscopic pieces. So come here and vent it all out in a journal, or as the ladies like to call it – a diary! It’s really a great way to get all your frustrations out in the open without actually telling anyone. You better hope nobody finds it though – or your social life might be in trouble.

If you have an awesome, to die for, fantabulous IC game to play, post it in here so we can all join in the fun! Don’t keep it to yourself, that would just be mean. The gossip board is also inside here – so if you want to catch up with the latest chit chat about your fellow patients, then you better get in here and start reading up!

This is the front of everything. It is the centre’s most prized position, because it tricks all the visitors into thinking that this place is actually a great place! The beautiful receptionist is trained to perfection, with her trophy smile and perfect looks. The pictures on the wall are all inspiring and happy. Sometimes patients come down here just to hit on the receptionist, but those days are few and far between. Oh, take note that you have to check in here to get a pass if you want to go to the beach.

The first section of the dormitories are located here. These are all the second floor dorms, that they like to keep the masochists in these rooms because if one of them decides to nose dive out of their window (provided they could fit through the bars) then they won’t hurt themselves too much. It’s pretty smart isn’t it? It aint high enough to jump, but it sure as hell is high enough to regret trying.

In the mood for a stroll? Well look no further than the beautiful gardens. They’re right in the front, so that visitors will have something nice to look at. Beyond the rose garden as a dense forest, and if you can creep past the lazy guards and get far enough into the trees, you’ll find a little river. It’s amazing actually. A lot of people come to the river to have some quiet time. Time alone, and time to just get out of the chaos. Others run mindlessly into the forest, risk getting lost and possibly eaten by hell knows what, just in order to smoke a doobie.

One of the infamous first floor rooms. If you piss off the people in charge, then you get put in here. It’s almost like putting a naughty kid in the corner, just worse. Some people get put in here for days on end. The room is completely empty, and the only thing you get is a blanket and a bucket. Sometimes they’ll throw in another person or two. But that’s probably to piss the original person off.

I’d like to say that its just a glorified cafeteria, but it’s not. It’s actually pretty amazing. They serve five star meals here. Like they say, you get what you pay for. Well at least that part is kinda true when it comes to the food. There are two separate sections where you can eat. Inside or outside. The place is always pristinely clean, just in case one of those loons freak out over a grain of dirt. When there aren’t many options, this is a great place to go for a date.

The third story dorms. They aren’t any better than the second story ones, but people tend to think that they are. Perhaps being up so high is why they love it so much, who knows. The more stable people get to stay in here, and by that I mean the people who won’t risk unscrewing their window bars and taking a leaping jump.

So there actually is only one benefit of having a third floor room – and that is that if you get hold of a screwdriver you can take your bars off and get up onto the roof where nobody can see you. It’s a bit of a hassle, and people tend to only take the risk of going outside at night, when the guards aren’t really watching from outside in the gardens.

This is the only nice part of the first floor that anyone can think of. There’s a room with a television where they play non-stop movies. If you don’t like what’s playing then that’s just too bad, because there’s only one person who’s got the remote, and nobody ever seems to want to fight an armed guard just to change the channel. There are a few other rooms, but nothing really creative.

You need a pass to be able to come here, and those are hard to get. Well actually not really now that you think of it. If you’ve been clean for a week then it’s pass granted. Take note that if you’re an addict you get tested on return, just to make sure that you didn’t go to the beach for the sole purpose of taking drugs. Other than that, the beach here is beautiful. It stretches for miles, the sand is soft and the ocean is warm and clear.

Members only in here! Come here to chat with your fellow members, to post an away message, to introduce yourself or to play an OOC game. You can make a poll or have a discussion. You can chat about your characters and you can even get some graphics done in here. It’s pretty neat isn’t it? Come on in!
