PERSONALITY. charming:As a young socialite in the heart of France, Caroline was extremely popular among the other cultured Brahmins and genteels, both young and old. She has an aura of allurement, the kind that comes from those too rich members of the elite high class. Whether her charm is the result of coming from 'sophisticated' and old money or an actual personality trait is a mystery.

bitter:While she is both fairly attractive and well-mannered, it's no cleverly disguised clandestine that she's bored and astringent. When you're wealthy, you've pretty much done everything and been everywhere before you're adolescence is over, and when you realize that all the people in your life are horrid, horrid people, you're bound to become bitter and Caroline is certainly no exception to the curse of the blue blood.

socialite:The family of Caroline Camhian have been high-profile, prosperous people in the East for generations. The Camhians are something of a clique, as it would almost appear, and had the tradition of believing that they were descents of Italian or Spanish royalty, depending on who you were to inquire. The Camhians thrived on publicity, and truly live the lives of a flashy celebrities.

bored: It's not out of mental illness or awful situation she decided to feast on doses of she-can't-even-remember-what-pills, but out of boredom. Little rich Caroline has done everything except overdose, and been everywhere except a rehabilitation center. Then again, with nothing to look forward to, when everything is just handed to you on a silver platter...Why bother? Maybe it was some suicidal attempt, not some ditch attempt to get attention...But that seems out of her nature.

HISTORY. The family of Caroline Camhian have been high-profile, prosperous people in the East city for generations. The Camhians are something of a clique, as it would almost appear, and had the tradition of believing that they were descents of Italian or Spanish royalty, depending on who you were to inquire. However, the actual founder of her line was her great-great-great-grandfather, who migrated to the States in the mid 1800s, and snuck his lover-who would later become my great-great-great-grandmother-on the ship as well.
The initial plan was to settle in Maine and start an authentic Italian (or Spanish) restaurant, which he had done and shortly after grand-opening it was one of the most praise-worthy high-class restaurants around. On October 3rd in 1858, they gave birth to Eleonora Giulia Amalia Duse, and that is where the blue in Camhian blood had first been colored.

She became an actress, and traveled city to city performing various roles, but was most known for her association with the plays of Gabriele d'Annunzio, an(other) Italian immigrant.
Eleanora thrived on publicity, and truly lived the life of a flashy celebrity, filled with fast-paced love affairs and scandalous marriages, from one of which resulted in her daughter, Enrichetta. So on and so forth, Enrichetta became the Italian/Spanish portrayal of Marilyn Monroe (whom Enrichetta was rumored to be close friends with), her son Sabatino became some big-shot baseball player, the Camhians were a long line of people who lived to entertain in some way, shape or form, and since Eleonora the bloodline had always lived quite lavishly.



Mr. Sabatino Camhian III and Mrs. Antionette Camhian, better known as Caroline's parents, were spending a year in Paris to pursue in their opera dreams when their daughter was born. As a young socialite in the heart of France, Caroline was extremely popular among the other cultured Brahmins and genteels, both young and old. 
When she was twelve, her parents split (due to an affair Antionette was engaged in, which seemed highly hypocritical seeing Sab III was having an liaison as well) and she moved with her father (and his mistress, Sophie, along with her son who was ten years Caroline's senior, Appollo) to Chicago (which Mr.& the new Mrs. Camhian had initially confused with New York City) where he could live out his dream of conducting an orchestra and the new Ms. Camhian could become a broadway star.


Two years later, both sick of Sophie's complete ignorance of culture and arrogance, Appollo and Caroline fled to a luxury apartment in the city the family was supposed to be in, in the beginning. Just before her seventeenth birthday, her step-brother married and moved back to France while she had decided to continue her life in New York.

At sixteen, she had begun her art collection with a piece painted by Pietro Annigoni, and since then her luxurious dwelling had slowly and swiftly begun to resemble that of an art gallery. Filled tastefully with various paintings, photography, and sculptors. This was also the age she, like the other women in her blood line, became in engaged in a not-so-secret fiing with a contemporary literature professor who taught at Concordia University. He had also introduced her to a series of capsules she would later become hopelessly addicted to. Of course, such an affair couldn't last long with Caroline's always changing taste in men, being a teenager and all. Since then, there have been no other known romances.


At seventeen she had begun to showcase her music, which she would describe as 'a ridiculous and beautifully catastrophic clash of alternative, indie, acoustic, ska, pop, hyphy, and rock that's just as painfully awkward and ridiculous as I am'. While this did not earn the approval of the pedigree clique she had known and grown up with, it certainly did make her an avid member of the Milwaukee Indie Elite (or snobs who, face it, were the first to hear that one band), and that was good enough for her. Her involvement in the music scene only heightened her pill intake, and she soon acquired a taste for Jack Daniels and Newport Lights.


And finally, at eighteen, for no definite reason, she overdosed and that was Appollo's very last straw, thus here she is in a rehab.
Though no one knows for sure as to why she swallowed so many, there sure are a lot of rumors. 



She is the paragon of perfection, with her ambience of allurement, wealth, and finesse. However, she still falls short of her social class's ideals: While she is both fairly attractive and well-mannered, it's no cleverly disguised clandestine that she's bored and astringent.
Caroline is simply in love with money, ease, and material luxury. While she is capable of affection and sincere love, she has not shown (or perhaps, had the chance to show) that she is capable of sustaining loyalty and/or care.
